Not the Bert Show

Dear Aunt Sharon,

I realise I haven't written for such a long time; ever since I stopped Living with Bert in fact. So much has happened since then that I hardly know where to start.

Life since then has certainly been interesting, if not exactly easy. But let's regard this as just getting in touch for now, and I will fill you in along the way as well as keeping you informed about anything new that happens.

Alongside my budding coaching career I have also started a course in Creative Writing which you may think I don't need, but let me assure you that everything I tell you here is absolutely true no matter how absurd it may seem at times.

So for now, please accept my apologies for being quiet for so long and I promise I will keep in touch more often. And you will see I have listened to your ticking off for my old nickname and I have switched to something closer to the real me.
